Amie, I don't look good in hats either (part of the reason I have to approach this as a yoga), but one thing I learned was that if I love the yarn, I feel like I look good in it: the yarnlove weaves a yarnspell that makes me think that a hat made of it looks great on me. I think of it as the "Morgan Le Fey Theory of Yarnie Vanity".
