The winner, according to this random number generator, is Colorful Temptations. After I complete this blog post I'll alert the book editor, Robyn Chachula, to release a downloadable copy of the new Simply Crochet book to her.
Thank you to everyone who entered! I like that my blog visitors from outside of the USA are equally eligible to win because the prize is downloadable.
Meanwhile, here are more photos of the Tunisian crochet stitch I described in the previous post. This one is an experimental möbius (or moebius) cowl--in bulky wool yarn--and a large Tunisian crochet hook! Fast to crochet and pleasantly stretchy.
I'm adding its pattern details to the Tunisian Shakti Scarves Superpattern in case someone would like to try it.
Wow, thank you so much!!
ReplyDeleteDear Vashti:
ReplyDeleteI have a relatively new blogsite at http://wwwcropperhopper.blogspot.com. I feature
scrapbooking, stamping, crochet, and knitted items. I am
looking for a company that will periodically send me
patterns, yarn, and/or, books to review and give away on my
blog to promote both my blog, the company, and the
individual that made or wrote the item. I look forward to
hearing from you.
Sincerely,
Michelle
p.s. I just have to say that even though I have been crocheting for over 30 years (since age 8). I have learned so much via your newsletters. I haven't viewed crochet quite the same way since.
Hi Michelle, thanks for reading the newsletter and commenting. Best wishes on your new blogsite! I will keep you in mind when I or someone I know would like a new opportunity to be reviewed and get the word out with giveaways.
ReplyDeleteI like your blog, you are making very nice things! Now I will follow your blog.
ReplyDeleteHave a good day!
